MISSION: LOAD BEARING SHOULDER PADS

These shoulder pads are optimal under load bearing vests.

We set out to make a pad that absorbed impact, improved comfort and airflow, was light, and also had anti microbial and sweat proof properties. Using a blend of foams, laminated stiffeners, and an outer antimicrobial shell compressed into a honeycomb structure we created what we believe to be the best shoulder pad on the market. With our built in laminated stiffener, the entire 2.5" x 8" surface area is a load bearing surface. No more will your shoulder pad fold and direct all the weight of the carrier to the center of the pad. Our honeycomb structure acts as a distributive structure to disperse impact and improve airflow.

Features:
  • 2.5" x 8" load bearing surface area
  • Integrated stiffener to distribute load
  • Outer antimicrobial shell
  • Outer one-wrap velcro for hydration / cable management
  • upper 1" elastic loops for cable management
  • Honeycomb pad structure to improve comfort and improve airflow between channels

  1. Joe

I only have one hike with the shoulder pads, but they feel great so far. They definitely have a high quality feel to them. I’ll probably pick up other Coyotes Tactical equipment.

  2. Anonymous

Swapped them between plate carrier and chest rig. Much better padding–high quality and well built for the purpose. I need to get another set.

  3. Mike

I purchased these pads for a couple older plate carriers and chest rigs and it completely transformed the fit, feel/comfort and weight distribution. Currently they are sitting on an old Haley Strategic chest rig that has a simple H-harness straps and what a huge difference overall. Also there were some issues during transit via my local USPS service and Coyote was very helpful in resolving the issue even though it was no fault on their part.

  4. Paul Hoggard

I’m a JTAC, so cable management and load bearing is very important to me, especially when I have a lot of radios and other equipment on my kit. These are by far the best shoulder pads on the market right now. If I can make this product a little better, I would make the elastic bands for the cables a little bigger. Because some of the black diamond cables I run are a really tight squeeze and I stretched out the elastic a little. But other than that these are amazing and truly the best on the market at the moment !

  5. BigSky

These shoulder pads have made a huge difference in the comfortably of wearing a vest for long periods of time. I have also let some of my guys test them out and they have been very impressed by them. If you need some really good padding then these are definitely worth considering.
They are very stiff when they are brand new so they will take a little time to break in but it’s a very short period for that.

  6. Lee

The pads are affordable, well-made, easy to install, and set up your various tunes.

They’re fairly low profile and don’t interfere with my activities or movements.

And I like hexagons. I am not a bee.

The only thing I don’t like is the sides scrape my neck when I put my armor on and off. But that only happens about 4 times a day.
